Peter Obi: Why Igbo's should invest more on Media.

By Ifeanyichukwu Sanctify
Media is the main means of mass communication (broadcasting, publishing and the internet). Media is a powerful tools your enemies can use against you. Media can be use to silence any individual, group, community or country. Media warfare are the most dangerous weapons anyone can possess. Media brings war, if miss used, media brings peace if carefully used.

Yoruba dominance in media

Yoruba dominance in media is the reason for their political relevance in Nigeria. Yorubas have been engaging Igbo's in media war over years now, silently making Igbo's political irrelevant and minority. They go to any length in discrediting Igbo's politically and turning the north against Igbo's with incitements, write up, words and tribalistic comments and the north which is lover's of tribal and Religious hatred, will start attacking Igbo's in all angles. Yoruba dominance on media platforms have made them more advantage both political and social. Most media platforms like, AIT, Channel TV, Arise TV, Sahara Reporters, vanguard news papers, punch news papers, the Nation news papers, and individual journalism like, Omoyele Sowore, Deji Adeyanju, Seun Okinbaloye, Reno Omokri, Sam Omatseye and the rest of them. You can never hear them condemn things happening in their domain but rather accused others for it. Yorubas are full of tribal bigotry and hatred against the Igbo's. When ever you try confronting them, they will tell you Igbo's are doing business in Lagos, but the question now is how many Yorubas are doing business nor have any investment in Igbo land? None of them.

Igbo youths and social media war

The emergence of Mr Peter Obi have exposed many online political activists who have been pretending to be standing up for truth and the poor masses. Peter Obi dominance of media is not going well with the capals who feels they are born to rule, and also decides who to rule. The Igbo youths have taken the challenge to Yoruba and Hausa Fulani combined together to their door step.

Threat to life and media war

Threat to life which is another tactics of discrediting Peter Obi and obidient followers is another means of gaining ground to attack Peter Obi and Igbo's harder but thank God almighty, the Igbo youths are not bowing down nor falling to those trick's. The Igbo's are facing threat all over Nigeria and the conspiracy of silence by the Buhari government is alarming. Many have been attacked in Lagos State for supporting Mr Peter Obi and obidient followers and the Lagos State government have done nothing to prove they do not have hand in it. Those who claims to know all and the master of all media platforms are the ones crying today because they are now irrelevant to the society.

Why Igbo's should invest more on Media

Igbo's should invest more on Media because, no one go to a fight empty handed. This media platforms giant are struggling to survive now and with Igbo's investing more on Media, no individual journalism, group journalist, regional journalist and national journalist will attack Igbo's and go free. Media is power and those who have it must use it wisely.

Remember Jesus Christ is coming soon.
